Call for Nominations – 2025 AGM Elections!
Dear Members,
In accordance with our Bylaws, all Association committee terms have a duration of 2 years, at which point they are re-opened for election or acclamation. The following Faculty Association Committee positions will therefore be up for acclamation or election at our Annual General Meeting this April. All Members, including current committee members, are eligible and welcome to be nominated for these terms.
Per the Associations Bylaws, “A Member may be nominated for any elected position with the signatures of any two (2) Members of the Association and the written consent of the nominee.” (5.2). Please see the attached nomination form. The Nominations and Elections Committee can assist any member with securing signatures if they are interested in being nominated. Please submit all nomination forms by April 11th, 2025.
There will also be an opportunity for Members to be nominated to any of these positions from the floor of the Annual General Meeting.
Any positions with only one Member nominated can be acclaimed at the Annual General Meeting. Positions with more than one Member nominated shall proceed to election in accordance with the Association’s Bylaws.
