Constitution & Bylaws

The Association’s Constitution and Bylaws establish its governance structure and practices. The constitution defines the purpose of the Association, while the Bylaws define the membership, responsibilities, and mandates of its elected executives, council, and committees. The Bylaws also define the Association’s financial policies (including dues), election procedures, and meeting guidelines.

The Constitution and Bylaws are reviewed by the Association’s ad-hoc Bylaws committee on a continuing basis. Any and all changes to the Constitution and Bylaws requires a special resolution presented to the general membership followed by a two-thirds majority vote.
