Panel Discussion – Academic Freedom: Expressing Dissent in the Managed University

Come hear from UBC Professor Jennifer Berdahl, UBC Faculty Association President Mark MacLean and Executive Director Deena Rubuliak on recent events following the resignation of UBC’s President Arvind Gupta.

The panel will feature a talk from Dr. Berdahl on the attempt to silence her social media comments on UBC leadership, followed by a moderated discussion with all three guests. Time will be provided for questions from the audience.
